Makrolon® Ambient - the name speaks for itself. With this product Bayer Sheet Europe is offering a multi-wall sheet filled with Nanogel® which creates a pleasant atmosphere and is characterised by excellent material properties.
Is your customer looking for an alternative to glass as a roof or window material which also offers thermal insulation? Makrolon® Ambient offers you the opportunity to combine both in an attractive finish. Its translucent and insulating properties stand out thanks to the filling of Nanogel®.
Excellent material properties include:
- First-class thermal insulation (Ug < 1,0 W/m²K) which remains constant in contrast to glass, especially for roofing applications
- Exclusive character thanks to its special light effects
- High light transmission and extreme light diffusion
- Anti-vandal (EN 356 P5A)
- Low weight meaning easy installation
- Noise insulating properties e.g. during heavy rain
or hail
The product is available in thicknesses 16, 25 and 32 mm. Since the sheets are filled with Nanogel® lengths must be requested individually; the sheets cannot be cut to size afterwards.
